Week 733 - monochrome

Good morning lovely crafters; we hope you all had a fantastic week last week and your Easter weekend was fun.  Thank you for your gorgeous entries into last week's 'use 3 of anything' challenge.  It was lovely to have you join us and as always the DT had a brilliant time visiting your blogs and seeing your beautiful creations.  Don’t forget to pop back later to find out who won the 2 digi images courtesy of Leann's World 101 and also who Linda has chosen as her Top 5 Passionista.

Onto the new challenge, which has been set by Sarah from Team 1, and she has given us the theme of ‘monochrome (for those of you unsure what that means the definition is ‘a photograph or picture developed or executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one colour’).  So in other words Sarah would like you to create something using predominantly hues of one colour.  You can of course use skin/hair colours and neutral colours but we want your creation to be basically shades of one colour.  Don't forget you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card but whatever you make please remember you must include a hand coloured image to be eligible for our prize draw.  So come on, grab your markers, and have fun!

Our generous sponsor this week is Dies to Die For and Tracy is offering one lucky winner a £15.00 voucher to spend in her online store.

The design team have worked their magic once again this week and have created beautiful cards to inspire you (please click on their names to visit their personal blogs):

Another week of wonderful inspiration from the DT!! We hope you can join in with our challenge this week and we look forward to seeing what you create.

Stay safe and sending our love to you all.

Good morning lovely crafters, I hope you all had a fantastic week last week.  Thank you for your gorgeous entries for last week’s ‘pretty pastels’ challenge.  As always it was lovely to see your wonderful creations and the DT had a brilliant time visiting your blogs.  Please remember to come back later as we will be announcing our lucky winner who will win the $6.00 voucher courtesy of Little Miss Muffet stamps and we will also be finding out who Lisa has chosen as her top 5 passionista.

Onto the new challenge, which has been set by Kitty from Team 2, and she has given us the fantastic theme of ‘monochrome’ (for those of you unsure what that means the definition is ‘a photograph or picture developed or executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one colour’).  So in other words Kitty would like you to create something using predominantly shades of one colour.  You can of course use skin/hair colours and accent colours but we want your creation to be basically shades of one colour.  Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton(formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.  Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation I.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.  Thanks x x

Our generous sponsor this week is Ppinkydolls and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.  Their image are super cute so why not pop over to their store and check them out.  Some of the DT were lucky enough to use Ppinkydolls images on their creations this week.

Week 327 - Monochrome

Happy New Year dear crafters.  We trust you all had a very Merry Christmas and are now looking forward to a happy and healthy 2016.  However I know there was quite a lot of illness around this year, so hopefully if you were feeling under the weather during the holidays you are starting to feel better now.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support during 2015 and we hope you will continue to support our challenges in 2016.  On the topic of challenges we had a brilliant response to our month long Mega Christmas challenge and the whole of the DT had a wonderful time visiting your blogs and seeing your amazing creations.  Don’t forget to come back later to check out the exciting bit – finding out who the lucky winners are!  As we had multiple sponsors there will be lots of lucky winners so come back this evening and see if you are one of them!

Ok onto the new challenge, which has been chosen by Lucy from Team 1 and she has gone for ‘monochrome’.  As the title suggests Lucy would like you to create something using a monochrome colour scheme.  For those of you who are unsure what exactly that means here is the definition of monochrome “a photograph or picture developed or executed in black and white or in varying tones of only one colour”.  We can’t wait to see what you create this week.  Please remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.  Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation i.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.  Thanks x x

We are delighted to present a brand new sponsor for us this week – All Dressed Up stamps – and they are generously offering one lucky winner 2 digis of their choice.  Their images are so gorgeous you will be spoilt for choice.  Our DT were lucky enough to use some of their images on their cards this week.

The design team have worked their magic once again this week and have created beautiful cards to inspire you (please click on their names to visit their personal blogs):
