Week 672–sketch (& DT call!)

Good morning lovely crafters, we hope you had a great week last week and enjoyed the first challenge of the year.  Thank you for all your gorgeous entries for our ‘new’ challenge; it was so lovely to have you join us and as always the DT had a wonderful time visiting your blogs and seeing your amazing creations. Onto the new challenge, which has been set by me (Denise) on behalf of Team 2, and I have given you a lovely ‘sketch’ to use.  This week I thought we would have a change and have a sketch to follow; no other rules, except use your markers and have fun.  We hope you enjoy using the sketch and we cannot wait to see what you create.  Don’t forget you can enter any type of creation it doesn’t have to be a card.

DT call:

Sadly Lisa G. from Team 2 has decided to step down from the DT so we are looking for a new team member to join Team 2.  There are a few conditions that you would need to fulfil to be successful:

* You will need to have excellent colouring skills using markers of course!

* You will need to have a blog and update it regularly, at least once a week.

* You must be able to commit to creating at least one card every fortnight.

* You must have a Facebook account (or be willing to join Facebook) as this is where all the information for the DT will be located.

* You must be able to comment on your allocated number of entries (we have a commenting rota in place).

* Most importantly if selected you can start creating for us straight away.

If you feel you meet all the above then please add DT after your name and we’ll pop over for a look. If you would like more information please feel free to email us (but please don’t apply by email). We will probably keep the call open for next week’s challenge also so there is plenty of time to get your name in the hat.  If you know of someone that may be interested then please let them know about the call.

Week 569–add a tag

Good morning lovely crafters, I hope you’re all doing ok and managed to fit some crafting into your busy schedules last week.  Thank you for all your lovely entries for last week’s ‘fancy frames’ challenge.  It was great to see your gorgeous entries and as always the DT had a brilliant time visiting your blogs and seeing your creations.  Please remember to come back later as we will be announcing our lucky winner who has won the $12.00 voucher courtesy of Bugaboo Stamps and we will also find out who Lorraine C. has chosen as her Top 5 Passionista.

Onto the new challenge, which has been set by Kitty from Team 2, and she has given us the theme of ‘add a tag’.  As the title suggests Kitty wants to see at least one tag on your creations this week.  She doesn’t mind what you make this week as long as you include a tag. Such an easy and fun challenge, with so much possibility, and we can’t wait to see what you make.  Don’t forget you can enter any type of creation it doesn’t have to be a card.  Remember as always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Winsor & Newton (formerly Letraset) products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.  Please can you help us by stating which products you have used on your creation I.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc.  Thanks x x

We're having a DT call!

We are excited here at PFP as we have decided to have a bit of a re-vamp and are looking for 5 new DT members to join our team. The DT call will run for 2 weeks, so plenty of time to get your applications in to us.

We would like you to email us 4 of your best pieces of work and tell us a little about yourself and why you should be considered for a place on our DT.

This DT is a little different to others and if you feel you can not give 100% commitment please do not apply.

We don't like rules but unfortunately we do have a criteria that we need you to follow:

• You must have a blog and post regularly.
• Your colouring skills must be of a high standard.
• Your photography must be clear and well lit - no point making a stunning card if no-one can see it!
• You are expected to make one card/project per week and upload it to photobucket the Monday morning before the challenge on the Tuesday. You will be expected to post your card on your own blog and highlight the challenge and sponsors.
• You will be asked to carry out a tutorial on the weekend workshop approximately once every 10 weeks or so, using our sponsors digi image.
• You must comment on all cards submitted in the challenges. We know this is time-consuming but it is our way of thanking people for entering our challenges.
• You will be asked to choose themes for our challenges and on those weeks will pick your top 5 passionista.
