Week 719 - midway reminder for the Mega Christmas challenge!

Good morning crafters.  Wow where did the last two weeks disappear to?  We cannot believe it’s only 6 days until the BIG day – we’re sure you are all super organised and are now sitting back and relaxing waiting for the day to arrive (or if you’re anything like me you are running around like a headless chicken lol!).

Well we are now half way through our Mega Christmas challenge and we have to say we are stunned by all your gorgeous cards.  The theme is “add a sentiment” and don’t forget you still have until 2nd January 2024 to enter our challenge, although there is a maximum of 3 entries per person.

We have some news for you before we show you the wonderful creations by Team 1.  Sadly this will be Julie's last challenge for us at PFM, after being here since almost the start of the blog she has decided to step down and devote more time to her family and her new grand baby.  We would like to say a huge thank you for all her hard work and the wonderful creations she has shared for us over the years.  We will miss you lots Julie.  However on a happier note we are happy to say that we have Sarah joining us in January and if you play along regularly I'm sure you will know her and her wonderful work.  Welcome Sarah!

Here is a quick reminder of the prizes up for grabs:

Week 718 - Winner & Top 5 Passionista

Hello again friends; we hope you’ve had a great day so far.  We’re back to announce our lucky Winner and Top 5 Passionista for last week’s ‘baby it's cold outside’ challenge.  Thank you for all your lovely entries; as always the DT had a wonderful time visiting your blogs and seeing your gorgeous creations.  I’ll be announcing Sue's Top 5 Passionista in a moment but firstly let’s find out who our lucky winner is!

For last week’s challenge we were sponsored by The Paper Shelter and they offered one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.  As always we used random.org and he chose:

No. 14

Congratulations Kathy, what an sweet card.  Your image is so adorable and your background looks fantastic.  Please email us at promarkerchallenge@gmx.com with your choice of images and we will arrange for them to be sent to you.  We hope you will proudly display our winners badge on your blog:

Now onto the Top 5 Passionista and Sue had a wonderful time visiting your blogs and seeing your amazing creations.  It was a really tough decision but after much deliberation here are her favourite 5:

Anet

Ileana A.

Irene M.

Leona

Congratulations everyone, you can now proudly display the top 5 passionista blinkie on your blogs.  If you need any help with this please email us at promarkerchallenge@gmx.com.

We hope you all have a wonderful week and find some time to join in with our month long Mega Christmas challenge ‘add a sentiment’ - full details in the post below.

Stay safe and keep on crafting.

Week 719 - Mega Christmas challenge - add a sentiment

*** WARNING – LONG POST ***

Grab a cuppa and a biscuit (or two) and make yourself comfortable!

Good morning dear crafters, we hope you all had a fantastic week last week. The DT really enjoyed visiting your blogs and seeing all your fabulous creations for our “baby it's cold outside” challenge.  Don't forget to check back later to find out who the lucky winner of the 3 digi images courtesy of The Paper Shelter will be and also to see who Sue has chosen as her top 5 Passionista.

This week we are launching our very special “Mega Christmas challenge” which runs for a whole month and ends on 2nd January 2024!  I’m sure you’ll agree that both design teams have worked extremely hard once again this year and they deserve a little break to catch up on their last minute gifts and cards.  However to make up for the lack of challenges we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is “add a sentiment”.  We don't mind what you create for this challenge, as long as you include a sentiment and colour with your markers!  You are welcome to make Christmas creations but as the challenge will still be running after the ‘BIG’ day you can of course make any type of creation.  As time is precious for our DT at this time of year we are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge.  Please remember to be eligible for our prizes you must use your markers such as Promarkers, Copics, Spectrum Noir, Karin, Zig Clean Color etc

So now for the exciting bit – the prizes!

Wow we are sure you’ll agree our sponsors have been super generous once again this year!  We are so grateful to have their continued support.

We have asked both design teams to share some inspiration with you but as it such a long challenge we will be posting the inspiration from Team 2 today and then in two week’s time we will be posting inspiration from Team 1.

Here are the gorgeous cards from Team 2 (please click on their names to visit their personal blogs):

We’re sure you will agree that their cards are stunning.

So to re-cap the challenge will run until 2nd January 2024 and you can enter a maximum of 3 times.  Unfortunately during the Mega Christmas challenge we will not be choosing a Top 5 Passionista but this will re-commence for the first challenge in 2024.

We cannot wait to see your creations and look forward to visiting your blogs. We’ll be back on 19th December to share Team 1’s gorgeous selection of cards, so don’t forget to stop by for more wonderful inspiration.
