Week 671 - new

Good morning and welcome back to our lovely crafters; we can’t wait to share our first challenge of 2023.  We hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and managed to fit in some crafting over the holiday period.  The last month has just whizzed by hasn’t it!  Thank you for all your lovely entries for our Mega Christmas challenge challenge; it was amazing to see them all and as always the DT had a brilliant time visiting your blogs and seeing your creations.  Please remember to come back later as we will be announcing all of our lucky winners – how exciting!

Onto the new challenge, which has been set by Julie from Team 1, and she has given us the very appropriate theme of ‘new’.  As the title suggests Julie wants to see something new on your creations this week; it can be as simple as using new crafty goodies (please tell us what they are so we can go shopping) or something for a new house, new baby or new year etc.  I don’t think it can get any easier than that to start us off this year.  Don’t forget you can enter any type of creation it doesn’t have to be a card.  So pull out your favourite markers and get colouring.

Our generous sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter and they are offering one lucky winner 3 digi images of their choice from their online store.

The design team have worked their magic once again this week and have created beautiful cards to inspire you (please click on their names to visit their personal blogs):

Julie

(using The Paper Shelter image ‘cabaret lolly’) - new die set

Lisa M.

(using The Paper Shelter image ‘cabaret lolly’) - new year card

Lorraine C.

(using The Paper Shelter image ‘cabaret lolly’) - new technique using a ‘wobbler’ spring

Marie

(using The Paper Shelter image ‘cosy winter wishes’) - new paper pad

(using The Paper Shelter image ‘snowball fight’)

Sue

(using The Paper Shelter image ‘funny giraffes’) - new baby card

Another week of wonderful inspiration from the DT!! We hope you can join in with our challenge this week and we look forward to seeing what you create.

Don’t forget to pop back later to see if you are one of our lucky winners from our Mega Christmas challenge; as we have lots of winners there will be no top 5, but this will re-start again this week with Julie's challenge.

Stay safe and sending our love to you all.

Hugs, Denise, Gina and DT x x
