Week 179 - Theme

Happy New Year dear crafters.  We trust you all had a very Merry Christmas and are now looking forward to a happy and healthy 2013.  However I know there was quite a lot of illness around this year, so hopefully if you were feeling under the weather during the holidays you are starting to feel better now. 

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your support during 2012 and we hope you will continue to support our challenges in 2013.  On the topic of challenges we had a brilliant response to our month long Mega Christmas challenge and the whole of the DT had a wonderful time visiting your blogs and seeing your amazing creations.  Don’t forget to come back later to check out the exciting bit – finding out who the lucky winners are!  As we had multiple sponsors there will be lots of lucky winners so come back this evening and see if you are one of them!

Before we announce the first challenge of the brand new year we have some announcements regarding the DT.  Unfortunately we are saying goodbye to Anja from Team 2 and we would like to thank her for all her gorgeous creations for us and wish her well in the future.  On a happier note we have two new DT members joining us in January! 

Firstly we have CATHY and she will be joining Team 1 on 8th January 2013

and

 

we have FRIDA and she will be joining Team 2 on 15th January 2013

 

The new girls will be joining us in the next few weeks but of course you can welcome them straight away!  I’m sure they will appreciate your comments.

 

Ok onto the new challenge, which has been chosen by Kim from Team 2.  As it’s a brand new year she has given us a theme of “new beginnings”,  i.e. new baby, new job, new home etc.  As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.

Week 134 - Theme
