Week 40 – colour combo & theme

Well the week’s are just flying by aren’t they? It only seems like yesterday I was writing last week’s post!! The DT would like to say a huge thank you for all the wonderful entries to our ‘buttons and bows’ theme last week – Sue is definitely going to have a hard time choosing just 5 from all the gorgeous cards submitted. Please check back later to find out who has won the 5 pack of promarkers donated by Letraset and who Sue has picked as her top 5 passionista.

This week’s theme has been chosen by our GDT Tracy and she would like you to use the colours tulip yellow and baby pink and include stitching on your projects. You can dig out your sewing machines or even just add some faux stitching – it’s entirely up to you! Don’t forget you can use other colours of promarkers but the challenge colours must the predominant ones on your image.

Our sponsor this week is Craft Obsessions and one lucky winner will receive this gorgeous 8x8 album:

Our design team have had lots of fun using Tracy’s colour scheme this week and have created some gorgeous samples for you (don’t forget if you wish to visit their personal blogs please click on their names):

There will be another amazing tutorial on the Weekend Workshop on Friday so please drop by and check it out.

We are giving Mr Linky another try this week – let’s hope he behaves himself, as we know this makes life easier for you when linking your cards. If he is a good boy he may be able to stay permanently!!

Hugs, Denise, Gina & DT x x

Squirrel, the stitching on the coat on your image counts as your stitching.

I'm really enjoying looking at all your entries, thanks for all taking part.
