Hello and welcome to the first challenge!

Well our first challenge is finally here and what an exciting day it is for us and hopefully for you too. As you know our first challenge is "anything goes" so you can use any colour promarkers you may have (even if you only have one) but please can you tell us which colours you have used on your post. Now for the first challenge (and the first challenge only) we are offering mega prizes from our four sponsors, therefore we will not allow you to combine our challenge with any other challenge, but only for this week.

After this week, you are free to combine our challenge with any other challenge you like, as long as promarkers are used to colour your images. The design team have come up with some wonderful samples to get our first challenge off to an amazing start (if you would like to know any details about the DT cards just click on the photo). We will be accepting entries from crafters who do not have their own blogs, just email a copy of your creation to either Gina or Denise and we will add it to the blog for you. Just add your name and link to Mr Linky (only add your card link not your whole blog!) and you can enter as many times as you like as long as your link is different each time. Unfortunately Mr Linky seems to be having a breakdown at the moment. If you have already linked your card using Mr Linky please can you re-link your card in the comments section below, otherwise we may never be able to see your lovely creation. Not long now!!!

Hi all, well it won't be long now until our first challenge kicks off *yay* so we thought we'd give you a quick reminder of a few rules:

You can enter as long as there is one promarker used on your card. Please let us know which colour on your blog.

You can not combine with any other challenges, on this challenge only though.

You can enter as many times as you want, BUT you must put a link to your card and not your blog, as Mr Linky will only take a different link each time.

You can still enter if you don't have a blog - email your entries to either Gina or Denise (link on the sidebar).

Don't forgot you can win all the lovely goodies up for grabs from Angel Crafts, Joanna Sheen and Dies to Die For - what an incentive!!!

Don't forget our challenge closes at 9am next Tuesday so make sure your entry is in before that. The winners will be picked sometime after and announced on the blog.

Extra colours

Hi everyone, we know a few of you have queried whether you can use extra colours in the challenges, so we thought we'd try and clarify the situation for you. You must use the challenge colours primarily, they must the focal colours on your image. However it would be difficult to only use those colours exclusively as hair etc isn't normally pink or green (i.e. for the first challenge) so all we ask is to be economic with the use of other colours and let the challenge colours stand out.

Not long now until our first challenge, we hope you're all getting excited.

Our new Design Team!

Well here is what you have all been waiting for! We received over 30 applicants and as you can imagine it has been a very hard decision. Now originally we were looking for 4 crafters to join myself and Denise, but due to the overwheming response and the fantastic standard of work shown by all the applicants we decided to make it a bit more fun and chose 9 (the more variety the better, that's what we say :). DT call has now ended!

Wow, we've swamped with applications to join our DT (over 30) and the standard of work is really amazing, we've been blown away - you've really given us a difficult job! Please bear with us while we work through them, talk them over and probably argue a little haha. The new DT will be announced on Wednesday, so stay tuned :).

Once again, thanks for all your interest and exitement about the new blog - it won't be long now until the fun starts. Don't forget the candy draw ends on 20th, you have to be in it to win it lol!

Thanks.....and a DT reminder

Well, it's not long now until our first challenge and we wanted to say a BIG thank you to all our followers (over 100 wow!). When we thought about starting this blog we hoped that it would be popular but we never expected the excitement and anticipation it has generated. We cannot wait to see all your lovely promarker creations.

We also wanted to remind you that you've still got time to apply for a place on our DT. The closing date for applications is 18th May and the new DT will be announced shortly afterwards. We've been inundated with applications so far and they've all be amazing - it's going to be a really difficult decision for us.

We're glad that you are all pleased the blog has been started and hope you will play along every week. We also wanted to let you know that we will be "spicing up" some of the challenges with different themes, sketches etc and also adding tutorials and tips on the blog in the coming weeks, so stay tuned, you wouldn't want to miss anything! We've also got some exciting news to share with you very soon (we've got you thinking now haven't we lol!!).

How do you feel about candy?

To celebrate the launch of our new challenge blog we've decided to give one lucky person a handful of proMarkers, which will come in very useful for our future challenges. The colours up for grabs are the first four weeks challenge colours and some extra skin colours too, so there is no excuse not to join in. I'm sure some surprise goodies may also find their way into the winner's bag by the end of the draw too!! If you would like to be in with a chance to win just leave a comment on this post and add a link on your blog back to the challenge blog so that everyone can come over and have a go. Welcome to our new weekly challenge blog for those who have a passion for ProMarkers. Our first challenge will be on 26th May and will run every Tuesday thereafter. For each challenge we will give you specific colours to use, but feel free to use more if required, but the challenge colours must be used.

Before we begin, it seems a bit lonely here so we are looking for 4 other ProMarker lovers to join us on the Design Team.

If you would like to be considered there are a few rules:

• You must of course own a lot of ProMarkers!!


• You must be able to make a card a week with the challenge colours.


• You must have an active blog and post at least weekly.

If you are interested in joining our DT please drop us an email (to Gina or Denise) with a brief reason why you would like to be considered along with some information about yourself and a few examples of your work.
