Week 170 - Theme

Good morning dear crafters.  Well another week has zoomed by and we are another week closer to the big ‘C’ lol!  I hope you all had a wonderful week and judging by the number of entries to our “man/youth” challenge, you lot can tackle anything we throw at you lol!  The DT all had a wonderful time visiting your blogs and were really impressed by your amazing creations.  Don’t forget to check back later to find out who Heidi has chosen as her top 5 passionista and also to see if you are the lucky winner of the New Promarker collector set courtesy of Letraset

Now onto this week’s challenge and it’s the turn of Anja from Team 2 to set the theme and she has chosen “shabby in pink or blue”.  In case you’re not sure what we mean by ‘shabby’ here is some of the definition of shabby chic from Wikipedia:

"The essence of today's shabby chic style is vintage and antique furniture with the original aged paint, or painted white (or another soft pastel colour) and distressed at the corners by sanding. Besides white, the Shabby Chic style also includes soft neutral colours such as sky blue, rose pink and beige tones".

So basically you must choose to use just pink or blue as your main colour and add some distressing/ageing to your creations.  Don’t forget to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (pro, flex, aqua, flex, metallic or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.

Our sponsor this week is DigiStamp Boutique and one lucky winner will receive 6 digi images of their choice from Sally-Ann’s store.
